The EFF Charity Cup Returns – Thursday 20th April 2017
Sixteen Teams… Sixteen Legendary Managers… One EFF Charity Cup!
Current England squad members and a host of football legends will once again go head to head at the Hive, London this April for the sixth England Footballers Foundation “EFF Charity Cup” – all in support of the players’ chosen EFF charity partners UNICEF and The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.
Sixteen teams will be coached through group stages and knockout rounds by footballing legends past and present all vying for the coveted EFF Charity Cup title. Post-tournament, players and guests will be treated to VIP hospitality in the beautiful Amber Suite including Q&A sessions with the football legends and current England players in attendance.
Reigning Champion Manager Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain spoke after his victory last time out saying: “Me and my team mates have had a great night and it’s all for a good cause which makes it even better. I am really proud of my team as we only practiced together once yesterday. I reckon it’s my strategic management skills that helped us to win the tournament and we look forward to coming back to defend our title!”
The EFF Charity Cup is a fantastic initiative that helps to raise vital funds towards Unicef’s work and raise awareness of important issues for children across the globe.
This year’s EFF Charity Cup also falls within Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and funds raised on the night will go to support The Bobby Moore Fund’s research into Bowel Cancer
